Statement of Faith:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross, resurrected on the third day having victory over death. I believe in the trinity, that God is existent in 3 separate persons - God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe, as Calvary Chapel states, “that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a competitive pitch matching name in powerpoint format. The learning goal is for 2nd grade students to name pitches as fast as they can (beginner level, just the spaces!) :) We usually play this game 'around the world' style. We start off on the left side or right side of the the room and the first two people stand up and you flash a note on the screen. The student who gets the note correct gets to move onto the next child in the class while the other student sits. This is a lesson that is from my CVC Fluency Lessons Bundle. In this lesson you will have one detailed lesson plan, phonemic awareness, reading CVC words, orthographic mapping of CVC words, a high-frequency word, and scaffolded and regular CVC decodable passage. I don't know about you but sometimes I work better with a reference sheet for lessons. I created this quickie template for the EnVisions math program. I teach in a Resource type setting and don't always teach my own groups. This reference sheet is helpful when I have aides that need to step in to teach.
