Space Themed Letter Match File Folder Game - Literacy Center
By Morgan Jeffries
File Folder Uppercase & lowercase Letter Match:
This is a fun way for your students to practice matching the correct Uppercase and lowercase letters together as well as letter recognition. There is #2 pages of Uppercase letters as well as #4 pages of lowercase letters.
Print, laminate and attach the #2 pages of the Uppercase Letters to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the lowercase letter spaceships.
I would recommend getting small velcro dots and attaching them to the front of the Uppercase letter spaceships as well as the back of the lowercase letter spaceships to make the matching process easier.

This versatile tool is tailored to accommodate the diverse needs of both general education and special education classrooms, making it a must-have for any kindergarten educator.
I use this with my special education students as a replacement to the IMSE OG printables for red words, word dictation and sentence dictation so that my students are able to participate in their grade level content even if it is not at their work level.
How to Use Red Words: On the first page, students match letters of the red word first using magnetic letters, then using letter coins, and finally using scrabble letters. On the second page, students place the bumpy screen behind the paper. Then they trace the red word and write the red word in the letter boxes. On the third page, students use letter stamps and a red stamp pad to stamp the word as many times on the line as they can fit.
How to Use Word Dictation: First, students will match the dictated word letters using scrabble letters. Then, they will write or trace the word on the line below the scrabble letters. They will complete each word at the same pace as the classroom.
How to Use Sentence: First, teacher or student cut out each word box (teacher picks level colored or black depending on student needs). If using the colored word boxes, the student matches the word box color to the empty boxes
to complete the dictated sentence. If the student is using the black word boxes, they will listen to the dictated sentence and order the word boxes to complete the dictated sentence. After gluing the word boxes in correct sentence order, the student will re-write or trace the sentence on the lines below.

United States Abbreviations Review
By Sign with me TOD
This product is made for:
This product was made for students to learn about the 50 states, the spelling of each state, and each state's abbreviation. This product includes slides that are made up of the states that begin with the same letter on each slide, as these states can be confusing. For example: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and Arkansas as well as their abbreviations so students can see the difference. Slides that show states that don't have any similarities, like Georgia, and states that have two words, like New York, are also addressed.
Each slide is provided with the state name and the abbreviation. Students can attempt to fill in the blanks of the abbreviations that were reviewed on each previous slide as well. This helps students to learn the spelling, abbreviations, and location of each state. This product can be used for students who benefit from having material adapted and it can also be used with students who are on grade level as well.
