Materials:

• Calling cards (print and cut out)
• Class set of Bingo sheets (21 different cards)
• Blank Bingo Card
• mall object like buttons, beads, paper circles, or candies to be markers (not included)

How To Play:

Each player receives a Bingo sheet and handful of markers. The caller draws a card and says the vowel pair word. The players mark the word called on their sheets- if they have it. When a player marks four words in a row either across, down, or diagonal, they shout, "Bingo!"

Practice Bossy R words with these R-controlled vowel worksheets and posters. There a variety of activities to help your students learn the different R-Controlled vowels. There is a set for each r-controlled vowel (AR, ER, IR, OR, and UR) as well as a packet for practicing the vowels altogether.

This packet includes the following types of activities for each individual vowel spelling:

• 2 word posters - one in color and one in black and white.
• 2 Cut and paste the word under the correct picture.
• 1 ABC order page
• 2 Write the word under the correct picture.
• 2 Circle the picture that matches the word.
• 2 Circle the correct r-controlled vowel word that matches the picture.
• 2 Cut and paste the pictures that match the words. Write a sentence using one word.
• 2 Fill in the sentences with the correct word. (With picture clues).
• 4 Stamp It! pages. Two pages for adding just the r-controlled vowel and two pages for spelling the whole word.
