Where is the ladybug? This spring sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

What is Included:

• Sight word cards for the Fry 1-300 sight word list.
• Ladybug cards for hiding

The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts.

Ways to Use:

• small group game
• whole class game
• circle time game
• student led literacy center
• one on one instruction to target specific sight words for struggling students

How to Play:

Where's the Ladybug is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a ladybug is hidden behind a flower. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the ladybug is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the ladybug is behind the flower, then the ladybug must be hidden again to play further. If the ladybug is not behind the flower, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Increase letter sound fluency, automaticity, and knowledge of the alphabetic principle with this low prep Letter Sound Fluency Practice Spring Homework and Center Packet. Alphabetic principle is essential in the road to becoming a fluent reader. The alphabetic principle is made up of letter name knowledge, letter shape knowledge, and letter sound knowledge. Just print and send home or print and laminate for center practice.

Where is the Object? These seasonal sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

Products Included:

• Winter: Where's the Penguin?
• Spring: Where's the Ladybug?

• Fall: Where's the Acorn?

What is Included:

• Sight word cards for the Fry 201-300 sight word list.
• Penguin cards for hiding

The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts.

Ways to Use:

• small group game
• whole class game
• circle time game
• student led literacy center
• one on one instruction to target specific sight words for struggling students

How to Play:

Where's the ________? is a game for centers or whole group instruction where an object is hidden behind a sight word card. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the object is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the object is behind the sight word card, then the object must be hidden again to play further. If the object is not behind the sight word card, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Green Frog Math Number Flashcards and Posters for numbers 0-100 Here is a set of frog number flashcards and posters that can be used at the beginning of the school year or anytime. There is a color background card for each number as well as a white background card for each number to save on ink or for if you would like to cut the frogs out.

They can be used at center time or any other time to help students practice number recognition, counting, and number sequence.
