1st Grade Find and write the tiny HMH Spelling Words

A great resource for working on the 300 first-grade HMH spelling words of the week writing the tiny words hidden in the drawing. There are a total of 36 weeks.

Your students will have to look with a magnifying glass for the tiny words of the HMH week hidden in the pictures of animals and write them in the boxes. They will also be able to write a sentence using one or several words of the week and color the drawing whoever wants or finishes soon.

There is no better way to learn vocabulary than to write the words after paying close attention to how they are written.

There are two different resources available:

'Find and write' resource: Your students will have to look with a magnifying glass for the tiny spelling words of the week hidden in the pictures and write them in the boxes. They will also be able to write a sentence using one or several words of the week and color the drawing whoever wants or finishes soon.
'Find, circle, and trace' resource: Your students will have to look with a magnifying glass for the tiny HMH spelling words hidden in the pictures, circle or line them, and trace the dotted words in the boxes. They will also be able to write a sentence using one or several words of the week and color the drawing whoever wants or finishes soon.

Both products can be purchased separately, but also together for a lower price.

Differentiation:

For children with greater ease when it comes to tracing the hidden words, I'd use the "Find and write" resource, while for the rest, I would opt for the "Find, circle, and trace" resource.

You will find three PDF files with three different font sizes of the hidden words for children with problems seeing words due to their visual ability. Use the one that suits each child or your group best. The two smaller ones will require the use of a magnifying glass, but most will be able to read the larger one without using it.

Fichas de trabajo, listas para ser usadas, de las palabras de ortografía de la primera semana de Arriba la lectura de HMH en primer grado. Puede ser usado como tarea o incluso como centro.

Al adquirir este recurso, obtendrán 3 archivos PDF con un total de 24 páginas para trabajar las 18 palabras de ortografía de las 3 semanas del módulo 3. Cada palabra tiene su propia página, y tienes dos opciones distintas para el reverso de la página. Una de las opciones es la de seguir formulando oraciones con la palabra del día, mientras que la segunda opción es la de practicar cómo se escribe la palabra del día o incluso las palabras de la semana.

Cada módulo tiene 3 semanas y el programa consta de 12 módulos(36 semanas).

Cada palabra se trabajará de 8 formas diferentes:

Lectura de la palabra, sus sonidos y sílabas.
Trazo de las letras que componen la palabra.
Búsqueda de la palabra entre otras palabras de esa semana.
Rellena los bloques con cada una de las letras de la palabra.
Ordenar las fichas con letras para formar la palabra.
Contar el número de sílabas de la palabra.
Escritura de la palabra varias veces a modo de práctica.
Redacción de varias frases cortas que contengan la palabra.
