Two sets of sources to help differentiate tasks in your classroom. The simulation cards provides an opportunity for students to take the role of the 5 countries involved in the Munich Conference, can they change history!

  • Editable Slide Decks on: Was Appeasement the Right Decision slide deck and The Failure of Appeasement (PowerPoints)

  • two sets of Source documents: summarised and extended for more capable students

  • Validation Task: Based on the extended source documents:

    • Was appeasement the right policy for England in 1938? Cite evidence from the documents to support your answer.
    • Model answer for Validaion task
  • Country simulation cards with objectives and perspectives to role play the Munich Conference in groups of 5

  • Timeline of events from 1933 - 1939

  • Blank 1930's European for students to map changes to borders.

  • Early finisher coloring activity

*I have selected 90 minutes to complete if you do all activities. However you can handpick those that suit your class and complete it within a single history lesson.
