Transform your Spanish classroom with ¡Pesca!, the thrilling card game that turns conjugating present tense -ar verbs into an exciting challenge! Students dive into learning present tense verb forms while racing to match them with their English definitions in this dynamic twist on 'Go Fish'.

In small groups, players sharpen their Spanish skills by asking strategic questions to pair verbs like bailar with their corresponding meanings. Who will outwit their classmates and collect the most pairs to claim victory?

Find Someone Who (Novice Spanish) Back to School present tense speaking activity

By Spanish Teacher Stuff

Are you looking for a community building speaking activity for the beginning of school in which the students can get to know each other while reviewing the present tense? This is a great Back to School ice breaker activity for levels Spanish 2, 3 or 4 for the first month of school or if you want to give the students an opportunity to get out of their seats and talk to their classmates. This would be a fun social emotional activity since it promotes positive communication among the students in the class. It is also an interactive way to reinforce the present tense at the beginning of the year. Even though this is a novice activity, it would be a good review for the upper level classes who need to know the present, past and future tenses for the Seal of Biliteracy test.

Spanish Getting to Know You BINGO!

By Churros and Croissants

This BINGO card is a great ice breaker for the first days of Spanish class! Each student receives a card and then moves around the classroom meeting new people and asking questions to get to know them better. When they find someone who can say "Yes" to a box, they will cross it off and write that person's name on it. The first person to get a BINGO reads their card out loud so the class can get to know their new friends as well!

This activity is designed for students with no previous Spanish knowledge (MS Spanish, Intro to Languages, Foundations of Spanish, and Spanish I), but my returning Spanish 2 students loved it as well. This card is in English for beginning Spanish learners.

Earn TeachShare credits for your next purchase by leaving a review! Reviews play a crucial role in helping me improve and create better resources. They also provide valuable insights for other educators who are considering this product. Thank you so much for your support!
