Looking for an engaging and informative reading comprehension activity on the topic of political systems in the USA and the UK? These reading passages are are designed to help students practice **skim reading, summarizing **and comparing.
They are perfect for EFL / ESL students at the B1/B2 level and can also be used for native English classes at 7rd to 9th grade level. With low prep, just print and use. It contains 2 reading passages about the political systems in the States and the United Kingdom.
Each reading passage comes with 4 multiple-choice reading comprehension questions. Summarization questions are on a separate sheet of paper. Students use Venn diagrams (included) to compare the 2 countries or to compare and contrast the system in the US or the UK with any other country.
