Want your French students to use their movie vocabulary in meaningful context? Use the cards to teach them the vocabulary if you want. This low prep activity is a fun way to encourage your students to speak more and engage in conversation. It is a perfect resource to use in immersion, core or homeschool curriculums.

You can use these cards after teaching specific vocabulary and grammar for movies or as a fun interactive activity on a day when you want to just focus on speaking and reviewing vocabulary in a different way. There are many ways you can use this set of cards:

✫ Print, laminate, cut out, punch holes and attach on a ring for small groups to ask and answer questions.

✫ Project the pdf file in class to work in group or with your whole class and avoid printing.

✫ Use as a warm-up speaking activity with a conversation partner. As students enter the classroom have them choose 2-3 cards from a box.

✫ Students who finish their work earlier than others can choose a few of the cards and write out correct answers to false statements.

✫ Use as exit tickets. Give each student a card before the end of class and as they walk out of the room they tell the teacher their answer.

✫ Stations: Put students into groups and divide the cards amongst them. Have groups rotate to a new station as they finish the cards.

✫ Scoot: Put one card on each desk in the classroom. Give each student a response sheet and set a timer to give them just enough time to answer true or false and to correct the false statements. The task cards come in 3 versions!  First I have a large scale digital version that can be displayed for the class.  The other version is printable (4 cards per page) and comes in both black and white and an attractive color version. Slides come with helpful vocab that students may need to discuss the scenario.

Engage and challenge your students when reviewing French definite, indefinite, and partitive articles with this set of 75 challenge review cards. Take a look at the preview to see ways that you can use these grammar challenge cards in your French classroom.

This is a set of 75 cards to have your students practice choosing between partitive, definite, and indefinite articles with food and drinks.

All cards are written in the present tense and use the same food vocabulary found in my 20 questions game that also is great for reviewing the French partitive.

Each card has a sentence in which students fill in the blank using the correct article. Verbs of preference are used for definite articles. There are plenty of expressions of quantity and negation used in this set of practice cards.

These cards are only in French, so they are suitable for core French or immersion classes.

The following tenses are used in this resource:

⭐ présent - imparfait
⭐ imparfait - imparfait
⭐ passé composé - plus-que-parfait

⭐ futur simple - conditionnel

Step 1 - Distribute the lesson guide and tense chart for students to observe and study the retelling of events using different verb tenses.

Step 2 - Students complete the exercises in written form and check their work.

Step 3 - Students use the set of numbered cards to practice oral production at their own pace. This can also be a paired speaking activity or a whole class.

Step 4 - Listen to the audio recording of the exercises while reading along with the set of numbered practice cards. Each prompt is read twice, and time is then given to speak the response.

Step 5 - Listen to the audio recording of the exercises without the help of the practice cards to work on listening comprehension and oral production at the same time. Use the answer key from the exercise to check responses when needed.

These Spanish Scenario Task Cards are geared towards Jobs and Employment situations. Scenario Task Cards are a great, NO PREP way to get your Spanish 2, 3 and 4 students speaking or writing and using language creatively! They have open-ended prompts for students to use while speaking or writing.  (These are generic enough to be used with any curriculum!)  

There are 20 different scenarios which give students an idea of what to talk about in a story that they make up. The task cards come in 3 versions!  First I have a large scale digital version that can be displayed for the class.  The other version is printable (4 cards per page) and comes in both black and white and an attractive color version. Slides come with helpful vocab that students may need to discuss the scenario.

These Jobs & Employment situation task cards feature scenarios perfect for practicing talking about different kinds of jobs students or adults may have.  The prompts ask students to talk about themselves and others in present, past and future time frames.  The prompts are in English. Google Slides can be modified if you need to change something to meet your students’ needs!

Bonus!  Also included is a  vocab list of 25 popular jobs, peer feedback sheet and a self-assessment sheet!

How can I use this product?

• Teacher notes for the multiple ways to use these are included in the slides!
• Pair students and have them take turns telling stories based on their scenario
• Ask students to give peer feedback or self-assess
• Display task cards on your Smartboard for the class.  Have one partner make up a story.  Set a timer and challenge them to try to talk the entire time!  Change the slide and have the other partner take a turn!
• Use these task cards as multiple versions of a speaking assessment.  This allows for student choice and/or prevents students sharing the exact task for advance preparation.
• These task cards can also be used for writing prompts or assessments!
• Ask students to peer or self-assess using the included forms

French Pronouns: Direct, Indirect, Y, En - 150 Practice Cards in 3 tenses

This is a set of 150 French pronoun practice cards. These cards are written in the present, futur proche, and passé composé tenses and do not include negation. Have a look at the video preview and you'll really get a sense of how this resource can be used.

There are 75 cards to practice using the French pronouns Y and EN in three different tenses. These practice cards will help students better understand when to use Y and EN in many different situations.

There are 75 cards to practice using French direct and indirect object pronouns in three different tenses. These practice cards focus on using: LE - LA - LES - LUI - LEUR. These practice cards will help students better understand when to use LE or LA to mean HIM or HER instead of LUI, and LES to mean THEM instead of LEUR.

Each card indicates a subject pronoun, verb in the infinitive form, and another word or words to complete the sentence. Students first form a sentence using the elements provided, then they restate the sentence using either LUI - LEUR - LE - LA - LES - Y - EN. A four page answer key is provided. I recommend printing them on the front and back side of two sheets of paper so that you can easily distribute them to students for them to check their own work. This is an activity that students can work on alone or in pairs or small groups. My students really like to do this activity with a partner. One student says the sentence without the pronoun, then the other one says it with the pronoun. They take turns going back and forth.

There are 4 guided conversations, so both students will have a chance to ask and answer questions in a conversational way.  Two versions are for Intermediate Low students, but are pre-differentiated.  2 of the conversations are based mainly in the present tense, and the other 2 feature future and past tenses.

• Students will work in partners to participate in a guided conversation
• Students will trade roles so both can practice asking questions and answering questions
