This is a multilingual flashcards resource of 95 Dolch nouns, it is a collection of educational materials designed to help students learn and practice vocabulary in multiple languages (English-Spanish-Arabic-Russian-Chinese).

The resource includes a set of flashcards featuring 95 Dolch nouns, which are important words that kids and students need to know in order to read fluently.

The flashcards are designed with bright and engaging visuals to help students better understand and remember the words they are learning. Each card features the Dolch noun in English, as well as translations of the word in multiple languages: Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown), allowing students to practice and reinforce their knowledge in different languages.

This TeachShare resource can be a valuable tool for language learners, especially those who are learning English as a second language, as it can help them build their vocabulary and improve their reading comprehension skills.

The Dolch nouns included in the flashcards are carefully selected to cover a wide range of common words that are essential for reading success, making this resource a valuable addition to any language learning curriculum.

Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 95 Dolch Nouns for a total of 24 pages. Check out the thumbnail and the preview of some pages in the pictures. They each feature the English verb in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Languages included are Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown). To help aid meaning, I've included illustrations.

This quick four-page Reading Assignment and Worksheet provides an overview of the various activities, contributions and activities of women during the Civil War. It works well as a Guided Reading activity or as an exercise for Reading Comprehension.

It covers the time period 1861 through 1865. Despite the division between genders during this era, women routinely stretched the boundaries of these boundaries. This resource looks at the differences and similarities between women among the different regions and between white and African-American women.

Students can read this on their own as a homework assignment or it can be a group activity in a classroom. Students will use the prompts and drawing templates to design their own Protagonist with a unique backstory and their own set of skills, strengths & weaknesses. This resource includes three options: a male version, a female version, and a blank canvas where any of your more creative students can create something truly unique. Students who like to trace will also appreciate the blank version. Use this assignment for early finishers or to supplement and support any creative writing assignment & quickly elevate your student's storytelling to the next level.

This group work sheet can be used for any subject area. It is a very simple tool used for students to reflect on group work.

Students Will Write:

Plus- an area they did very well in

Delta- an area they could improve on for next time

Shout out- this is where they name a group member and what they did well

Stand out- this is where they share something that stood out to them from the experience with their groups

✯ House and Home 20 questions games - No prep ESL speaking activities ✯

4 versions of the game are included for a total of 208 vocabulary words.

Have students work in pairs, small groups of 2-4, or project the version of the game that you want to use and do a whole class activity.

Each version includes 52 house and home words. This resource includes a total of 208 words. Many of the words will likely be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice speaking and listening, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words.

One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

Are you an object?

Are you a room?

Are you in the kitchen?

Are you in the bedroom?

Are you in the bathroom?

...etc...

The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: YES - NO - SOMETIMES - RARELY - USUALLY - MAYBE - IT DEPENDS - PROBABLY

Alternative game play:

To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.
