- In the second task, students must order the plot events of Clement Clarke Moore's famous poem, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, on Freytag's Pyramid. Once solved, corresponding letters reveal the second code.

- In the fourth task, students must correct commonly confused words (like except and accept) in passages about how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Once complete, they must unscramble shaded boxes to reveal the fourth code.
- In the final task, students must solve an encrypted Christmas message using the codes and clues from the first four tasks. Then they must figure out the final line that completes the message. Once they sing that you, they can escape to Christmas vacation!
Hanukkah Kwanzaa Christmas Diwali ESCAPE ROOM: Your students are stuck in your classroom and cannot leave for vacation until they solve 5 challenging Language Arts skills-based tasks about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Christmas around the world.
- In the first task, students must read fun facts about Diwali, each demonstrating 1 of 6 comma rules. Students must match the fact with the comma rule. The code is revealed when cards are matched correctly.
- In the second task, students must perform a close reading of Hanukkah Lights by Philip M. Raskin (1880-1944) and answer multiple choice questions about the selection that when correct, reveal the code.
- In the third task, students will read 8 fun facts about how Christmas is celebrated in different countries around the world and must identify the parts of speech of underlined words within the passages. When matched correctly, shaded boxes will reveal the third code.
- In the fourth task, students must correct commonly misspelled words a passage about the origins of Kwanzaa. Once complete, they must unscramble shaded boxes to reveal the fourth code.
- In the final task, students must use all that they have learned about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Christmas and fill out a crossword puzzle. Once complete, they must unscramble the circled letters to reveal their final code to escape!
New Year's ESCAPE ROOM: Your students must face their first major challenge of the new year and are stuck in your classroom until they solve 5 challenging Language Arts skills-based tasks about New Year's!
- In the first task, students will read 8 fun facts about how people celebrate New Year's around the world. In each passage, one word is spelled incorrectly. Students must identify the incorrectly spelled word and write the word with the correct spelling in their answer sheet. Shaded boxes within the answers reveal the first code.
- In the second task, students will read 8 New Year's resolutions from their favorite celebrities and sports stars. They must identify the parts of speech of underlined words within each quote. When parts of speech cards are matched correctly with the resolutions, shaded boxes reveal their second code.
- In the third task, students must solve a word maze. Letters collected along the way, once unscrambled, reveal their third code.

How does it work?
Your students are stuck in your classroom and cannot leave for Christmas vacation until they solve 5 challenging grammar-based tasks about Christmas!
- Santa! I Know Him!: In the first task, students must identify the parts of the speech of words in facts about the origins of Santa Claus.
- Bah Humbug!: In the second task, students must identify homophones within a passage from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
- Belsnickel: In the third task, students must identify commonly misspelled words within a passage about Belsnickel, a character from German folklore that visits children around Christmas.
- 12 Days of Christmas: In the fourth task, students must the verb tense of verbs inspired by the 12 days of Christmas.
- Word Search: In the final task, students must complete the word search containing the names of Santa’s nine reindeer. Once they have found all of the words, the remaining letters spell out a question that they must answer to escape the room.

- What is Love? Baby Don't Hurt Me: In the fourth task, students must correct past tense verbs within a passage about love.
- How Will I Know?: In the final task, students must identify the parts of speech within a question. Then, they must input all 5 codes into a famous quote about love. Once complete, they must bring to you to escape!

How does it work?
Your students thought they had a grammar test today, instead, you fooled them with an escape room! They are stuck in your classroom until they solve 5 grammar-based tasks about April Fool's Day!
- Don't Be a Crank, It's Just a Prank: In the first task, students will read 8 fun prank ideas (like the classic cream cheese on the toothbrush trick). In each passage, one word is underlined. Students must identify the part of speech of the underlined word by assembling a mat puzzle that, when assembled correctly, will reveal their first code.
- Spaghetti Tree: In the second task, students will read about the epic "Spaghetti Tree" prank done by the British media. In each paragraph there is an incorrect homophone. Students must identify the homophones and write them correctly on their answer sheet. Shaded boxes within each answer will form their code.
- April Foolin' Around the World: In the third task, students must match facts about April Fool's Day around the world to the type of sentence it is (declarative, interrogative, subjunctive, imperative, conditional) by drawing a line connecting the sentence with its type. Letters not intersected by these lines will form their third code.
- Fool Me Once: In the fourth task, students will read 8 "fool" quotes. Each one is missing a comma. Students must insert the comma in the correct place, then write down the word before it. Shaded boxes within each answer reveal the fourth code.
- Encrypted Message: In the final task, students must decode an encrypted message (a Shakespeare quote about the joy of April) from the codes they collected along the way.

- In the second task, students will read 8 facts about St. Patrick and must identify the parts of speech of underlined words within the passages. When matched correctly, shaded boxes will reveal the second code.
- In the third task, students will perform a close reading of one of Ireland's most beloved poems, Raglan Road, by Patrick Kavanagh. Then, they will answer multiple choice questions about the poem. Letters of the correct answers reveal their third code.
- In the fourth task, students must solve a word maze. Letters collected along the way form the fourth code.
- In the final task, students will be quizzed on what they learned throughout the first four tasks and enter their answers to St. Paddy's Day trivia questions in a fun crossword puzzle. Circled boxes within the puzzle will reveal their final code. Students must act out this word in order to escape.

ESL Emergency Vocabulary Words Workbook for Newcomers

In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary words for the different emergency items presented. Students will initially write each vocabulary word in their native language and after learning the English word, students will complete different emergency items vocabulary review where they will be required to fill in the English and their native language word for different emergency vocabulary words. I tend to use that section as a quiz. I will read the word aloud and the students will then write the English word and the word in their native language. Pictures are included for each vocabulary word to help students make connections with each emergency word. Students can do this independently or with help. Students will be required to answer a few comprehension questions that relate with the importance of safety skills, what to do if they are in an emergency, who to call in an emergency, and complete an emergency vocabulary review.

Deaf Education - Writing Characters, Setting, and Plot Ideas

As our students are completing written assignments, sometimes coming up with characters, a setting, and a plot is difficult. With this product students are provided with a lengthy list of female names, male names, and gender neutral names to choose from, possible setting ideas that also include words that focus on the time of day, time of year, days of the week, and months. This packet also provided plot ideas for a variety of writing assignments such as story ideas about life, science fiction, adventure, mystery, fantasy, funny stories, friendship, superhero, family, and animal story ideas. Students do not have to use the examples provided or even the characters names, but it does provide them with a boost of confidence to pick their own topic.

ESL Breakfast Items Vocabulary Workbook for Newcomers

In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary word for the different breakfast items presented. Students will initially write each vocabulary word in their native language and after learning the English word, students will complete different breakfast items vocabulary review where they will be required to fill in the English and their native language word for different breakfast vocabulary words. Pictures are included for each vocabulary word to help students make connections with each breakfast item. Students can do this independently or with help. Students will be required to answer a few comprehension questions that relate with what they eat for breakfast at home, school, or when they go out to eat, and what breakfast food they look and do not like to eat.
