• Version B includes only the infinitive, so they must first decide which tense to use and then fill in the blank with the correct form of the verb.
• Version B also includes comprehension questions to be answered in complete sentences in Spanish.

Each version of the story with questions is three pages long. The two different versions make differentiation simple!

In this activity, your students will:

• identify key words
• determine the main idea
• identify supporting details
• guess the meaning of words based on the context
• answer comprehension questions
• write a personal reaction to the infographic
• write follow-up questions about the reading

This reading and writing activity makes a great addition to any travel unit, from Spanish 2 through AP (as an introduction to the unit). It also makes a great pre-reading activity for an article about travel (there is a suggested article in the product). There are two versions of the handout: version 1 has all directions and questions in English, while version 2 has all directions and questions in Spanish.
