Does the Subjunctive vs Indicative have your students stumped? Cut out confusion and give them a hands-on crash course with these sentence sorting activities! All you need is some scissors, glue, and enough copies for each student - no prep required. Get ready to help them master this tricky concept in minutes flat!
Here's what you'll get:
✅ one printable sentence sorting sheet
✅ one page of twenty English sentences with dotted lines for cutting
✅ one printable worksheet where students choose between subjunctive and indicative and explain why the chosen verb is correct
✅ one printable worksheet where students choose between subjunctive and indicative and translate the sentences to Spanish
✅ 4 Google Slides™️ (digital versions of the sorting activity and worksheets)
✅ answer keys for all included activities
✅ tips for using the resource and a table of contents
This activity is perfect to use in your Spanish 1 class both individually and in small groups. It is a great introduction to the differences between the subjunctive and indicative moods (using inductive reasoning), application, or review.
Do your Spanish 2 or 3 students need a review of subjunctive vs indicative? This resource makes for an engaging review, and the differentiated worksheets and Google Slides™️ allow you to choose the pieces of the resource that will best fit the needs of your students.
The best part? You just need to make copies and provide your students with scissors and glue. Don't have scissors? No problem! Just have your students write the sentences in the correct boxes. How easy is that?
