Students can use this blending board to "drive" small cars to each letter, stopping at the circles to state the letter sounds. Students can "drive" the cars faster or more slowly to practice blending sounds to make words.

Students can use the printable or digital version of these fun conTEXT clue cards to infer how the character is feeling based on the conversation displayed on the phone-shaped cards. Blank templates are included on the digital version for you to create your own. I have also included answer sheets with and without sentence stems so students can practice answering questions based on text evidence. Twenty slides total are included (11 in the printable file and 9 in the digital file which is embedded in the pdf).

Choose between three versions of this "All about Insects" emergent reader! The booklet will have 8 pages total (including the cover). The first version has all words printed. The second has words printed in a dotted font so they can trace certain words. The third has fill-in-the-blank sections for students to answer as they follow along in your lesson (use the copy with all words printed as your guide). Mix and match the booklets to best fit the needs of your students. The clip art from David's Simple Teaching is the perfect blend of kid-friendly and realistic. Print and laminate alphabet arc, picture cards, and arrow. Punch a hole where indicated on the alphabet arc and attach the arrow to the arc with a brad. 

Students will draw a picture card, place it in the box under the arc, and match the picture to its beginning sound (with the exception of boX for X) by rotating the spinning arrow to point to the correct letter. Alternately, students could turn over a card and place it in front of them, rotate the arrow to the correct letter, and then write the letter with a dry erase marker in the box below the arc for additional writing practice. Pictures coordinate with the key words from the Phonics First program, but this product is in no way related to Orton-Gillingham or its affiliates.

This game includes all 107 Zeno Sight Words. I teach the 107 Sight Words because they are the most narrowed-down list of the most commonly used words in texts. It is important your child can read these words quickly and accurately for success in reading! 

I broke the words up into 8 sets so that each set would have 52 cards to keep the game engaging and not too long! This also allows you to easily differentiate the game by choosing the set that has more words that your child needs to work on! Each set is color-coded so if cards get mixed up you can easily find their place!

Match the fruit or veggie to the word and letter in these puzzles! These cover all of the fruits and vegetables in my Fruit and Vegetables Vocabulary Word Wall Cards. There are two styles of puzzles: one is a two piece puzzle with the picture of the produce one one side and the word for it on the other. The other style is a three piece puzzle with one piece showing the word, one piece showing the picture, and the other piece showing the beginning letter of the produce. There are a total of 82 puzzles featuring 18 fruits and 22 vegetables. These are low prep and need to be laminated, but are full color and ready for literacy centers, early finishers, preschool centers and more. Spring short vowel mini set - Included is one of each of the activities featuring short a.

Students will write and wipe or use manipulative letters. Students will build letters using flower petals, tap out sounds with Mr. Frog, and slowly talk with Mr. Turtle. Turtle and Frog are ready to be printed and attached to popsicle sticks for hopping / walking along each word. Use them again and again in your small groups or centers.

Materials - Picture cards, turtle

Directions - 

We will be talking very slowly like a turtle!  We call this turtle talk.  Look at the picture.  What is it?  Say the word slowly.  Tap out every sound you hear.  Write the letters on the card.  Use your turtle to walk and turtle talk the word you made!

Over 60 colourful, fun and engaging visual supported clip cards to support students understanding of punctuation.

Students are encouraged to read the sentence on each card (which is supported by a visual cue), then determine the correct use of pronunciation and place a peg or clip on the correct answer. There are a total of 60 cards with three punctuation options :
full stop, exclamation mark and question mark.

An additional extension activity is to discuss and reflect on how using alternative pronunciation can change the entire meaning of the statement. Students are encouraged to use clothes pegs to identify the right answer. An alternative can be to use a white board marker or simply point. These are great for young learners including preschool, kindergarten, students with autism and special education needs.
