With read and reveal cards, students can practice reading, decoding and sounding out words and then check their reading by opening the card and revealing the picture inside! Each set of cards focuses on a different phonics skill.

Each cards in these sets have lines and dots for students to move their finger along as they sound out each word. After sounding out the word, students open the card to see if they read the word correctly!

Practice sight word recognition with these sight word flip books for the Pre-Primer sight word list. These books can be differentiated for multiple student levels. Students will find, spell, write and read the sight word through out the pages of this flip book.

Each sight word books comes with the following pages:

Where is the Object? These seasonal sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

How to Play:

Where's the ________? is a game for centers or whole group instruction where an object is hidden behind a sight word card. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the object is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the object is behind the sight word card, then the object must be hidden again to play further. If the object is not behind the sight word card, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Practice Bossy R words with these R-controlled vowel worksheets and center activities. There a variety of activities to help your students learn the different R-Controlled vowels. There is a set for each r-controlled vowel (AR, ER, IR, OR, and UR) as well as packets for practicing the vowels altogether.

This packet includes the following types of activities for each individual vowel spelling:

• 150+ pages of worksheets and posters to practice R-controlled vowels
• 40 unique spelling cards with 3 different formats for a total of 120 cards. One set of cards has the word fully spelled, a second set with only the r-controlled vowel missing and a 3rd set with the entire word blank. Letter tiles are included.
