This rubric looks at 5 different areas when students are being assessed on writing a research report. The areas that are reviewed on the rubric are as follows: Choosing someone to write about, grammar/punctuation/spelling, final draft includes details of person's life, staying on task, and sharing the biography with peers. This rubric scores writing a biography out of 10 possible points. The rating scale use is a 2, 1, & 0.

This Check In, Check Out (CICO) Weekly Logs product is perfect for implementing CICO in your classroom. This is a program used for behavior management & tracking and can be extremely helpful for students and educators. This weekly log is easy to use and ideal for creating goals, charting progress, and sharing student data with parents. It includes two main versions with smiley faces for lower elementary and a point system for upper elementary. This is your go to 3rd grade math assessment bundle. This covers all 3rd grade math core standards. Assess your students ability to multiply and divide single digit numbers, add and subtract triple digit number, and find the area and perimeter of shapes. It also covers identifying and comparing fractions, measurement on a ruler to the nearest quarter inch, mass, and volume. Then there are assessments for graphing; bar graphs, line plots, and pictographs. Every standard in the 3rd grade core is included in this bundle.

The quizzes and assessments can be used throughout the year to assess your students after each core standard taught. Included is a Diagnostic Assessment that you can you have the students take at the beginning & end of the year to see their previous knowledge at the beginning of the year and retest at the end of the year to see how much they have improved. You can also use this diagnostic test to see where students are missing skills. Each question is tied to a core standard, so you will see what skill they are missing.

This rubric looks at 6 different areas when students are being assessed on writing a personal narrative. The areas that are reviewed on the rubric are as follows: the order of events when writing a personal narrative, grabbing the reader's attention in the beginning of the narrative, the ending, staying on task, grammar/punctuation/spelling, and working with others. This rubric scores the personal narrative writing assignment out of 18 possible points. The rating scale use is a 3, 2, 1, & 0.

This guided descriptive essay asks students to describe a nutcracker. There are three separate options to use based on the level and ability of your students.

Option 1: A full five-paragraph essay with three body paragraphs and an introduction and conclusion are required. This includes a planning page, a student requirement page, and a rubric.

Option 2: A fill-in-the-blank essay is used for young writers learning to spell and write. Includes planning page, student requirement page, and nutcracker to color according to description.

Option 3: A Full five-paragraph essay with 3 body paragraphs, an introduction, and a conclusion is required. This includes a planning page, a student requirement page, and a rubric. A little less is required for this level.
