Writing a story about a snowman is fun project for your students to show their creativity. This fun Winter-themed Plotting Coordinates activity is a great way to get your students excited about coordinates! These worksheets aim to plot a number of coordinates to find a secret message. This can help motivate your students to try their best to get the message right by plotting the coordinates correctly and accurately.

Directions:

Students will plot the letters in the coordinate plane. The letters should be written above each point. Then, they will read the message from left to right. It reads, "In winter I plot and Plan", Finally they'll write the secret phrase in the given space.

A coordinate grid is included with this activity. Only the first quadrant is used.
