Suggesting prompts can be extremely helpful for students when it comes to writing. By providing a prompt, you can give students a specific topic or area to focus on, which can help them better organize their thoughts and ideas. Clifford's Manners is a great book for students to read to learn manners they can use at school, home, and when they are in the community. Students are presented with a variety of comprehension questions based on what happens in the book, Clifford's Manners, how they respond to different situations that require the use of manners, and students will decide which manners to use when presented with different scenarios. Students can answer these questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished.
