Can I use it with centers? This resource may be used with or without centers. Using centers allows students to work at different rates while all students are still working and creating but projects may easily be done without centers.

Need more Native American projects? These mixed media Native American Bear projects provide your students with the opportunity to explore materials and create magnificent artwork for display. This cross-curricular lesson is perfect for Native American Heritage Month (November) and includes connections to math, science, social studies, and literacy.
These projects are inspired by the artwork of artist John Nieto and are highly engaging, multi-disciplinary, and include all the instructions needed to make your lesson successful. The project is for 2nd-5th grade students and includes National Core Arts Standards and TEKS for these grades. It can be used with Native American Heritage Month, with a unit on animals, artists, or anytime of the year.
