Learners are presented with interesting trivia facts about the world around us, including science, history, and geography. Learners are given 20 seconds to identify the place value represented in the trivia information. This game not only provides a way to practice identifying place value, but it also exposes learners to fun/weird facts they can use to impress their parents and friends.

When answering correctly, learners are acknowledged by the name they entered when launching the game. Upon completion, learners have an opportunity to play again. This game presents 12 facts out of a pool of 50, which are selected randomly.

There are a few Easter eggs along the way, including sound effects, animation, and funny/goofy images.

No prep: Automatic scoring and answer key. Open/send the link and go!

Play on any device: No macros. Google account not required.

This is a fun game to add to your math centers or just have in your classroom. Place Value Golf lets students practice place value while playing a game. Students will roll dice to see if they can get a certain number in the hundreds, tens, or ones. This game is usually a two player game, but can be played by only one player. It follows the rules of golf. Each time you roll is a stroke, the lowest score wins! Such a fun way to review and practice place value. Two games work with two digit numbers and two games work with three digit numbers.
