This PowerPoint is a great way for English & non English speakers to practice speaking and reading about their emotions in Spanish. It consists of the vocabulary sad, angry, happy, and scared. You can also practice using: He is/She is, I am, I feel, I feel ___ because...., There are cute illustrations used from www.mycutegraphics.com by Laura Strickland (website gives permission to use) Teacher can use this powerpoint several different ways: 1. Read questions and sentences together. 2. Break into groups of two or more. Students will examine pictures and come up with a sentence to describe the picture. It can either be the same sentence that will pop on a click of the mouse or something similar. Use a point system to see can say the most correctly. 3. Print these cards out like flashcards and glue on construction paper. Then give each student a card. Teacher can say the sentence while others repeat. 4. Use other ESL strategies

This is a one-page full-color game board with spaces marked in Spanish. It can be used with trivia cards, task cards, or flashcards for a quick and painless set up. My students love playing this quick game during learning centers. This game includes a version with directions printed on the board and a version without directions. This one week SPANISH writing program will have your students writing every day of the week, and is perfect for Spanish immersion and regular Spanish curriculum. The writing activities in this program include five prewriting and writing activities for Monday through Friday. These writing prompts are a great way both to introduce and to review writing. Provide each student with a "párrafo de la semana" folder and have them add to it every day as you give them daily assignments. At the end of the week have them turn in their folders.

Theme: Mi deporte favorito es...

Here’s how this program works:

✍Lunes:  Dibujo - Give students a drawing page with a writing prompt at the top. This will have them beginning to think about the writing theme for the week and is their first pre-writing assignment. Kids love drawing, and the pictures they draw will later serve as inspiration!

✍Martes:  Mi folleto de vocabulario - Each student receives a booklet to help them explore the vocabulary related to the week’s writing theme. The front page includes the writing prompt of the week and an image. The second page includes over 80 frequently used Spanish words. Page three lists 12 words that go along with the theme of the week, and the back page has space for ten words that students have either thought of on their own or looked up in the dictionary. The booklet is a simple one page printable that you can either fold in advance or have students do it on their own. Kids write their name on the front cover and you could have them color it.

✍Miercoles:  Vocabulario - Students go back to their vocabulary booklets from Tuesday and choose ten words that they will include in their rough draft. The words they choose can be a combination of words they have chosen and themed vocabulary that was already written in the booklet. They then write down the chosen words on their vocabulary page that says “ Palabras de vocabulario útiles: Voy a utilizar estas palabras en mi párrafo".

✍Jueves:  Mi borrador - Students write a rough draft of their paragraph using the vocabulary words selected on Wednesday. The brouillon page includes a 5 point checklist at the top for students to evaluate their work for themselves before writing the final copy on Friday. This will motivate students to look over their work and make corrections. 

✍Viernes:  Mi borrador final - The fifth and final step in this writing program is to write the final copy. Students should feel very confident in writing about this week’s theme by now. At the top of the final copy page they’ll see the writing prompt and question words that they can ask themselves while writing:  quién - qué - cuándo - dónde - por qué - cómo

3. Modo de Práctica del Tiempo: Sumérgete en el mundo de decir la hora sin la presión del juego. Nuestro modo de práctica te permite interactuar con los relojes y practicar la lectura del tiempo a tu propio ritmo. Ya sea que estés comenzando a aprender o buscando dominar la habilidad de leer relojes, este modo proporciona un entorno libre de estrés para mejorar tus habilidades.

Cómo Jugar al Conecta 4 del Tiempo:

• Los jugadores deben conectar cuatro discos del mismo color en fila para ganar.
• Solo se juega una ficha a la vez.
• Los jugadores pueden adoptar estrategias ofensivas o defensivas.
• El juego termina cuando hay una fila de cuatro discos o un empate.
• El jugador que empezó el juego anterior juega segundo en el siguiente.

Cómo Jugar al Conecta 4 del Tiempo con Preguntas:

• Divide tu clase en 2 equipos.
• Los jugadores deben conectar cuatro discos del mismo color en fila para ganar. Solo se juega una ficha a la vez.
• Los jugadores pueden adoptar estrategias ofensivas o defensivas.
• Si un jugador quiere colocar su ficha en un espacio con una pregunta, primero debe resolverla. Haz clic en el símbolo de pregunta y esta desaparecerá. Clica entonces en una de las cartas de pregunta (cartas rojas para principiantes y cartas azules para momentos más desafiantes). Las preguntas se mostrarán al azar entre el set de preguntas seleccionadas. Responde correctamente para seguir jugando y colocar así tu ficha; de lo contrario, perderás tu turno.
• Las respuestas se mostrarán en un reloj digital y en forma escrita y hablada.
• El juego termina cuando uno de los dos equipos o jugadores forma una fila de cuatro discos, o cuando se completan todos los huecos sin hacerlo. Este último caso serían tablas.
• El jugador que empezó el juego anterior juega segundo en el siguiente.
• De los 42 espacios, hay 25 símbolos de pregunta. Diecisiete espacios no requieren responder preguntas para colocar una ficha.

Hay dos conjuntos de preguntas:

1. Conjunto de Principiantes de 24 preguntas (Cartas rojas): Estas preguntas están diseñadas para principiantes y solo muestran relojes configurados en horas en punto y y media.
2. Conjunto Avanzado de 58 preguntas (Cartas azules): Este conjunto presenta preguntas más desafiantes con relojes que muestran cualquier hora posible.

Siéntete libre de utilizar estos conjuntos para adaptar el nivel de dificultad del juego según las habilidades del jugador.

Este recurso es un archivo de PowerPoint con Macros habilitadas. Por favor, no compres este recurso si no tienes experiencia con este tipo de archivo o si tienes reservas al respecto. Practice transportation vocabulary in Spanish with these fun books!!!

They have five different challenge levels all in Spanish. You can use these books with the whole class, small groups or at a center. They can also be sent home as homework or review.

Pictures are black and white line so students can color each page.

Each book is 10 pages long.

Easy to assemble: print pages on one side, cut and staple. So easy that students can cut them and staple the pages with a little bit of help ;)

The set includes:

- Book 1 color book

- Book 2 read and color the transportation

- Book 3 read and draw the transportation

- Book 4 trace the word and color the transportation

- Book 5 read, recognize and circle the right word

- Book 6 fill in the missing word and color the transportation

Vocabulary used: yo voy en bicicleta, motocicleta, coche, autobús, camión, barco, tren, helicóptero and avión.
