Spanish Sight Word 100 Benchmark Assessment & Data Tracking in GOOGLE SHEETS™

Do you need a quick and efficient way to assess your ESL students’ high frequency word recall in Spanish?

Do you want to demonstrate individual and whole class sight word growth in multiple ways?

Do want digital data files that can be easily accessed, shared, and analyzed?

This resource includes everything you need to benchmark your students’ Spanish high-frequency word recall three times each year. Each student (up to 30) will have a tab in this Google Sheet with three assessments including the first 100 most common words in Spanish.

Simply click each missed word on the assessor probe as the student reads. Words read correctly and accuracy are automatically calculated and added to the class data sheet.

The following graphs will be populated from the data:

  • Individual graph for each student
  • Whole class line graph showing words read correctly
  • Whole class bar graph comparing words read correctly by reporting period
  • Whole class mean/median bar graph to demonstrate growth as a class

Each student probe can be printed and sent home so progress can be shared with parents.

Students will determine if there, their, and they're belong in each sentence, circle the correct use of the word there, their, and they're in sentences, write sentences using there, their, and they're when looking at different picture scenarios, and will write there, their, or they're to complete each sentence. Students are provided space to make up their own sentences using there, their, and they're as well.

This is a paper based, 4th of July themed resource. Products featured are 4th of July related. Examples of products featured: American flags, red/white/blue clothing, party popper, sparklers, patriotic floats, etc.

This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items

How to use this product:

•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.

•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.

•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.

Spanish Sight Word 200 Benchmark Assessment & Data Tracking in GOOGLE SHEETS™

Do you need a quick and efficient way to assess your ESL students’ high frequency word recall in Spanish?

Do you want to demonstrate individual and whole class sight word growth in multiple ways?

Do want digital data files that can be easily accessed, shared, and analyzed?

This resource includes everything you need to benchmark your students’ Spanish high-frequency word recall three times each year. Each student (up to 30) will have a tab in this Google Sheet with three assessments including the second 100 most common words in Spanish.

Simply click each missed word on the assessor probe as the student reads. Words read correctly and accuracy are automatically calculated and added to the class data sheet.

The following graphs will be populated from the data:

  • Individual graph for each student
  • Whole class line graph showing words read correctly
  • Whole class bar graph comparing words read correctly by reporting period
  • Whole class mean/median bar graph to demonstrate growth as a class

Each student probe can be printed and sent home so progress can be shared with parents.

The First Americans - Notes and Review Adapted

This product was made for students to learn the following: that different people come to America, the first Americans - Indigenous Peoples, review of directions when going from one place to another in the world, what the first Americans ate, where they lived, what was used to build houses, how they found food, how they made tools and clothes, the first explorers, who the Vikings were, where the Vikings traveled, what colonies, a colony, and colonists are, how colonists and Indigenous Peoples lived on the same land, slaves, brief discussion of the Civil War, and immigrants coming to America to start a new life.

Adapted notes are provided along with an independent review after each slide. Students will be required to fill in the blanks using a key, answer short answer questions without a key, complete multiple choice questions, and look at a graph and answer short answer questions.

Students can complete the review independently, with support, or it can be used as an assessment as well.
