This community helpers student picture activity allows students to learn about community helpers in our community, add a picture of themselves on each community helper, color each community helper, and look at the sentence that says, "My turn" and copy the same sentence on the lines where it says, "Your turn." Community helper pictures include: nurse, doctor, dentist, firefighter, veterinarian, mail carrier, police officer, chef, and construction worker.

Students are provided with possible unfamiliar vocabulary words on each page that they can use to help them to write each sentence independently or with minimal support.
