This is a chutes and ladders style game bundle for the following holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. This product includes six game boards, directions on how to play each holiday version of the game, and 1-9 multiplication/division fact cards. You can choose whether you have your students practice their basic multiplication facts, division facts, or a combination of both. Review skills in an engaging, fun way for each holiday! Students will race to be the first one to reach the end while practicing math facts along the way.

Directions on how to play: Students will play in pairs. They must create a spinner using a pencil and paperclip. Spin the spinner to find out how many spaces you move. Before moving your game piece, answer one of the equations. If you get it correct, you can move that many spaces forward. If you answer the equation incorrectly, you lose your turn. Follow the directions on how to play for each game board.

The product has a suspect list of 10 people (students should recognize many of the characters from movies and books!), and 5 clues that narrow down the suspect list to just one person. Each clue has a worksheet A & B and an answer key for all worksheets. Worksheet A for each clue aligns with the standards but at a lower level for students who struggle with this skill. Worksheet B is a more challenging version for higher-level students to offer enrichment. Worksheets A & B look the same; they have the same appearance clues and the letters are in the same spot on the equations. This allows students to work on the same assignment but at their instructional level to allow for more confidence and success. Or, mix and match between the worksheets to use which one best suits the needs of your class to use as whole group instruction. Review math skills in a fun and engaging way this holiday season!

Your 5th graders will love this "Disguise a Turkey" Thanksgiving math escape room activity! Students embark on an exciting math journey to disguise Tommy the Turkey and help him escape before Thanksgiving dinner. This takes about 15 minutes for a teacher to prep, and your students will have SO much fun solving these problems, they won't even know they are doing math!

HOW TO PLAY:

• Students work collaboratively in groups to find and solve six different clues.
• Students will solve math puzzles, decode numbers, unscramble letters, match keys to locks, create a feast based off multiplication, and decode secret messages.
• Using their answers, they will find the next clue in envelopes around the room.
• Set a timer for 45-60 minutes so students can race the clock.

LOW PREP:

• If you're like me, you LOVE doing escape rooms with your class, but you hate the hours and hours of prep time they take!
• This is why I've created an escape room that is HIGH fun and LOW prep! All you need is:
• 6 large envelopes or manila folders
• Paper/Printer
• Glue, Scissors, and Coloring Utensils for the kids
• About 15 minutes to make copies and assemble envelopes. (This escape room is reusable, so future years the prep will take you about 2 minutes!)
