It really depends on a lot of things. Estimated completion time is 45-60 minutes but it’s based on the kids’ puzzle skills, group size, and age. We recommend ages [7-12].

Kids can play individually, with friends, or in large groups. There really is no limit to the number of players.

What if the kids get stuck on one of the puzzles?

First off, let them think for a bit! This is where critical thinking skills come in. If they get stuck, hint cards have been included in your download to guide them and provide examples.

Where do kids start?

Kids can start on any puzzles and complete the puzzles in ANY order!

How do you know if their answers are correct?

There is an answer key provided in the PDF.

How do I set up the activity?

Just print and play! Everything you need is included in your download. You don’t need locks, envelopes, or special equipment. You can hang or hide the puzzles or just spread them out on the kitchen table.

Do I have to print out the game materials for every kid?

This resource is a no prep writing craft/flip book for Mother's Day. The students color the coffee themed front page that states "Mom, You're Brew-tiful Inside and Out" and sign their name. On the inside pages, students answer questions pertaining to their mothers and draw a picture of what they wrote about at the bottom of each page. The last page is designated to having draw a picture of their mom. Students answer the following questions in this flip book:

Decorate walls and bulletin boards with the words, "I lovin' being your teacher" or "I'm loving being your counselor". Fill in the available space with hearts that show students you notice and celebrate their strengths and determination!

Or, get students hooked with a one-a-day heart display!

Hang up the words "I'm lovin'" and "being your teacher/school counselor..." Make sure to leave space between the two sentences to hang the hearts. Present a new heart each day as part of your classroom celebration. Students will look forward to seeing a new heart each day making them excited to attend school!
