♣ Print out 1 mystery picture per student.

♣ Students cut up the answer tiles and then place them on the correct question tiles to match the words with the definitions.

♣ They can glue the question tiles onto the answer tiles and color the picture too.

Diwali Sudoku

♣ Print out 1 sudoku per student.

♣ Students cut off the right side of the sheet along the dotted line and cut out the missing sudoku pictures. They glue them into the sudoku grid so that all 6 words appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame.

♣ Each word must appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame only once.

Words That Rhyme - Pumpkin Themed:

This is a fun activity that not only focuses on matching rhyming words but also gives your students a way to practice their fine motor cutting skills. There are #10 different fall words (in both black and white as well as color). Each word has #5 different words to cut out and then choose which words rhyme with the fall themed word on the pumpkin. They will then glue the words that rhyme to the pumpkin. Below is a list of the #10 fall themed words. There is both a black and white copy as well as a copy in color for each word that you can choose from. Sometimes I prefer printing in color and then other times I like to give my students the opportunity to make it their own and color their work. So it just depends on which way you prefer!

Arthur's Valentine is a great book to read for students to learn about Valentine's Day and the traditions that can be followed with this holiday, students will also learn how to solve problems and how to be a good friend. Students are presented with a variety of comprehension questions based on what happens in the book, Arthur's Valentine. Students can answer these questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished.

This product is a Thanksgiving-themed color by number. It has students answer nine 2-digit by 2-digit questions. The equation number corresponds with the number on the coloring page; (equation #1 shows what color #1 on the color by number is). During the movie, students can answer the comprehension questions in this product to ensure they understand what is happening in the movie. Answering comprehension questions motivates students to pay attention to the movie as they are watching it. Students can also answer the comprehension questions independently.

This is a Valentine's Day themed math mystery that is best for grades 4 & 5. The geometry topics focus on types of angles, (acute, right, obtuse or straight angle), types of lines (parallel, perpendicular or intersecting), symmetry, finding the measure of an unknown angle and classifying angles by side measure (equilateral, isosceles or scalene). This product aligns with the 4th grade Engage NY Module 4 or Eureka math. While this product product specifically aligns with grade 4 standards, it would be a great review for 5th grade students nearing state test time; it would be a fun, engaging review that could be done as a whole group or independently. As for 4th grade students, this product would be great for a whole group review, independent fast finisher work, review prior to the end of module test or center work.

Students will read the scenario in the beginning to find out what the problem is, read over the suspect list and solve five clues to narrow down the suspect to find the suspect that committed the crime. My students love it when they're allowed to mark their own guess prior to completing this!
