This "Months of The Year" word search contains 12 Months that the student should find and is challenging. I usually give it as homework to my students and also to my kids. This word search puzzle contains 43 words of vocabulary related to Columbus day, it is designed to help students make sense of the story of Christopher Columbus and his journey to the Americas in 1492.

Through this activity, students will show increased vocabulary and understanding of why Columbus Day celebrations occur in the United States.
