Free place value chart with decimals! This resource includes 6 versions of place value charts, making it ideal for a variety of classroom activities and student needs.

These place value charts will enhance learning as they help students grasp essential math concepts through visual and interactive methods. They are also versatile and suitable for individual practice, small group work, or whole class instruction.

Suggested Uses:

  • Paste in Student Notebooks: Conveniently fits into notebooks for easy reference and practice.
  • Laminate and Write On: Simply laminate the place value charts (or put into dry erase sleeves) and use dry-erase markers for endless practice opportunities.

While this is a standalone resource, this place value chart can be utilized throughout my math units to provide consistent practice and reinforcement of essential place value concepts.

This powers of 10 activity will enhance learning as it helps students grasp essential math concepts through visual and interactive methods.

Suggested Uses:

  • Matching Game: Students will match the power of 10 to its expanded form and value in centers.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Cut and print out multiple copies of the puzzles and hide them around the room. Students must work individually or in groups to find and match all three forms of the number.
  • Puzzle Relay Race: Divide students into teams. Each person on the team will take a turn answering a question on the board. When they get it correct, they can pick a puzzle piece. The first team to complete the puzzles wins.
  • Interactive Notebook Activity: Provide students with the puzzle pieces that they can arrange and glue into their notebooks, matching the power of 10 with its corresponding forms.
  • Memory Game: Create a memory game where students flip 3 cards at a time to find the matching power of 10, expanded form, and value.
