Glimmers, which are the opposite of triggers are those moments of pure joy and serenity that light up their lives. I use the materials to share and practice glimmers with my students & after just 3 days back the kids have already started using the term "glimmer" when something brings them joy!

The word Glimmers originates from Deb Dana, LCSW, psychotherapist, and author who coined the term. How do you keep track of your student's birthdays? I print and laminate these cards, use a wet-erase marker or a chalk marker, and write the date of the student's birthday and the student's name. I then post them on a wall in my classroom. The students love looking at the month and seeing whose birthday is coming up. When the year is over - just wipe them with a wet paper towel or baby wipe and they are ready to go for next year!
