** Are you looking for a resource to teach students to understand temporal concepts or are you Teaching sequence of events, Following directions or Sentence writing?  These syntax activities will teach your students how to understand 25, higher level temporal concepts (prior to, simultaneous, thereafter). It is a simple drill in which students are provided with a small scenario containing the word and asked to determine the meaning of the concept.**

You will receive a 26 Slide Lesson which contains the lesson and one Assessment worksheet to print.

The Lesson works well with older students (Grades 6- 10)  or with students who have mild  cognitive delays yet good language skills. An independent lesson will take about 30 minutes however if you are using it as a teaching tool during instruction the lesson can easily fill 60 minutes with breaks in between for group discussion. When I use this lesson with my Speech classroom it takes two  30 minute sessions and 60 minutes total.

Make reviewing FUN with this no prep resource focusing on grammar, editing skills, and writing. Students will be engaged and motivated as they learn about walruses! Great for early finishers or sub plans, students can practice and review their writing skills. Also included is a writing prompt and space for them to try their hand at drawing a walrus.
