5th Grade Ancient History Google Apps (by date, latest first)

Teach your students all about the history of Valentine's Day with this fun and interactive STEAM lesson. Students will watch educational videos, go through detailed slides with vocabulary words and definitions, go on a virtual field trip to Italy, and finish with a fun and engaging STEAM activity. Students will create their own mailboxes for valentines day!

You will need:

• Construction Paper 
• Card Stock

• Pipe cleaners, pom poms, and other decorative items
• Ruler

I have my students complete their Maya, Aztec, and Inca organizer sheets right after we finish the chapters on each civilization when it is fresh in their minds. This resource is a fifth grade and sixth grade informational text writing unit about Ancient Rome. The unit focuses on key facts about the civilisation, and has been split into three separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each.

The Google Slides activity is ideal for distance learning and perfect for students in 5th grade or 6th grade learning about World History or Ancient History.
