This page provides you with a simple way to write anecdotal notes as you wander around the room observing your students working. This form is completely customizable allowing your to insert the goal, grade, term etc. There is space for each students name and a line for your comments/observations. This form is not subject specific.

Reading conferences are just as important in the upper grades as they are in primary. This two-page form is easy to use and fill out for your students. There is room for notes and a checklist to make sure you've covered everything that should be covered in a conference. This is a great diagnostic and formative assessment piece. Wanting to do a book tasting with your students?

This document contains a 11 x 17 placemat-style worksheet for your students to use during a book tasting! It prompts them to collect information and to rate a series of books.

I provide the run-down and the how-to, to take the guesswork out of it. I include printing instructions!

This document has both an English and a French placemat.

Print these fun bookmarks on colored or white cardstock and provide them to your students. The goal is to challenge the students to read and keep up with the number of books they read. Once they have finished a book, they are to color it to reflect they have finished the book.

You may also choose to laminate and them and have them use a permanent marker to cross out the emoji.

Spring Blossoms in the Forest: A Tale of Four Friends. This mini comprehension pack includes a comprehension story, two worksheets (one for students to stick in their workbooks and the other for them to write their answers on), and a memo key for easy grading.
