This resource offers a structured curriculum for students to learn about income and expenses. Engaging lessons and scenarios provide insights into various sources of income and types of expenses encountered in daily life. Through transaction tracking, students develop practical skills by identifying and categorizing transactions as income or expenses, allowing them to maintain accurate account balances. The worksheets include monthly budget challenges, enabling students to apply their knowledge to real-life scenarios, such as analyzing expenses or determining the number of income sources. Additionally, this resource integrates goal-based savings examples, teaching students how to calculate the required amount of money for desired expenses and plan monthly savings to achieve their goals within a specified timeframe.

6 worksheets where students check off if the item/ picture is an income or an expense.
3 cut and paste worksheets where students sort income and expenses.
1 worksheet where students list forms of income and expenses.
4 worksheets where students identify the scenario as an income or expense.
3 worksheets where students are given transactions and are asked to identify the transaction as an income or an expense and track the account balance by either adding or subtracting the transactions.
3 worksheets where students are given monthly budgets for a person and are asked to apply the knowledge learned to answer a variety of questions. (Which expense cost the most this month?, How many forms of income does this person have? Etc.)
4 worksheets where students use real-world examples of monthly budgets and saving goals to practice identifying and calculating the amount of money needed for a desired expense (ex. video game or trip) and calculating how much money will need to be saved each month in order to attain the desired expense.

Sun Salutation Yoga Cards

The Sun Salutation sequence is a great way to start the day or any yoga practice! It helps children feel present and stress-free while drawing energy like the heat of the sun. We often use Sun Salutations to create a flow of movement from one pose to the next. Try this as the perfect warm-up for any yoga practice, to get your kids ready for school, or as an after school activity to burn off extra energy.

Our playful Sun Salutation sequence and song are perfect for children ages 4 and older. This Sun Salutation takes the strength and development of children into consideration. This variation of Sun Salutation is safe for children who do not have the core strength required to safely practice planks and low push-ups. Instead, this sequence features safe, child-friendly poses in an order that they can safely transition from one pose to another gracefully.

Sing along with us! Enjoy the lyrics of this sequence as a mnemonic device to remember the sequence for years to come. Try it as call and response when leading children of any age 4 years and up.
