Call it Courage by Armstrong Sperry activity worksheets and novel study

Immerse your students deeper into Armstrong Sperry's Newberry award winning story, Call it Courage, with this interactive study pack. Designed to engage students with the story line and vocabulary, this resource offers multiple ways to enrich their reading experience and comprehension.
The pack includes three distinct chapter note templates, allowing you to pick the format best suited to your particular teaching style or classroom environment. These templates will provide students with a structure for capturing their thoughts, ideas, and questions as they progress through the book.
In addition to these templates, a writing prompt sheet with five diverse ideas is included. These prompts are designed to stimulate critical thinking and encourage students to engage more deeply with the narrative, characters, and themes of the story, thereby enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of the book.

The Door of No Return Study Guide

Students will answer comprehension questions about the text, along with questions about figurative language and text design. There are also questions that push students to analyze the text and the choices the author made.

Included in this resource are 132 questions about this text. Each chapter study guide has a color and a black/white version of the worksheets. There is a color and a black/white cover.
