Are your students struggling to master fractions? This fractions with unlike denominator online activity is designed to help students step by step solve fractions and master adding fractions.

Practicing adding fractions with unlike denominators will be so much fun! This activity is no-prep and easy to use.

In this worksheet students solve 20 problems by adding proper and improper fractions with unlike denominators.

Students need to write down all the steps in order to solve each addition.

It is self checking: if a term is wrong it will become red, students get immediate feedback so they can correct the misconceptions before they become a more permanent part of their thinking.

If all the steps are correct a digital sticker will appear.

If, after some problems, the students wanted to work faster, they can skip the first and/or second step and the sticker will still appear.

If you prefer them to use paper and pencil a printable version is also included.

After this activity your students are most likely to master this topic.

Showing your work is so important in math.

You can also use it for sub-plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, extra practice and spiral review.

Solutions are not needed since the worksheet is self checking.

Teach your students about Social and Emotional Development with this fun and interactive STEAM Lesson. You will need:

1. Glitter
2. Water
3. Jar
4. Clear Glue or Glitter Glue
5. Measuring Cup
6. Corn Syrup
7. Food Coloring (optional)

Teach your students all about the Scientific Method with this fun and interactive science lab. Students will watch an educational video, go through detailed slides and learn about the scientific method, complete a differentiated science lab worksheet, and finish with an fun and engaging science lab! Students will conduct an experiment to see how many pencils it takes to pop a bag of water.

You will need:

• 1 Ziploc Bag (per group)
• Water
• 1 pack of Sharpened Pencils (per group)
• Safety Goggles
• Food Coloring

The numbers are represented by symbols. Using the symbols, decode the questions and solve the for the answer. All operations are included in worksheet. Don’t forget, Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally! Compatible with Google Classroom or available to download as a PDF.

Using the order of operations, solve the math riddle, "What has legs, but cannot walk?"  All the operations are present in the equations. When students get the answer, they will match the letter to the correct answer to find the answer to the riddle. Don’t forget, Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally! Compatible with Google Classroom or available to download for a Printable Worksheet.

There is Pemdas Among Us! Students are tasked to solve the equations, using Orders of Operations. Once students have typed in the correct answer, the box will turn green, and the image will start to appear. If there answer is "sus", they will box will turn red.
