Students enjoy this engaging activity to practice division of fractions. Students will work problems on paper and enter answers into the form. Students have fun revealing the picture created using correct answers. Students will troubleshoot incorrect answers and persevere in solving the problem correctly.

Students will complete problems with fractions as dividends and divisors.

Division problems are written as fractions with a "/" rather than division symbol.

Self-checking as image is revealed by correct answers.

A fun way to practice and keep up the skills of multiplication and division. These game sheets can be laminated to use over and over again. Or you can print a new one for each new game. The game boards are perfect for fast finishers, math centers, or a fun multiplication and division review.

What's Included:

• 3 pages of Multiplication Golf

Multiplication Golf: Students will play with a partner or alone. Each game board is played with different dice. Some are played with two 6 sided dice and others use 10 or 12 sided dice. They roll the dice to reach their goal (or par.) Each time they roll the dice they make a tally mark. Once they reached their goal they can move onto the next hole. When playing with a partner, they try and get the lowest tally marks.

Division Golf: This is also a fun game, but practices division. Students will roll dice and use addition and subtraction based on their game board to find the factor to reach the goal. Each game board is different.

This is a modified polynomials activity for algebra. There are 16 questions that have students find the leading coefficients, constants, degrees, terms, and then classify the polynomials by degree and terms. This is a great activity to supplement and reinforce polynomial skills. Very interactive! My students loved doing this activity and had a better understanding for the material.

French Number Lines are not always easy to find to fit the tone and feeling of your classroom! I have developed this number line with simple font and easy to read numbers and words so that your students can get started on reading their numbers together. This bright coloured French Number Line will look great in your classroom whether you are just starting out or if you need a fresh new look part-way through the year!

I have added this number line to my classroom and the students started organically using it whenever a number comes up in conversation. Students will read words, define words or solve math problems written on 3 oz. bath cups to create pyramids. This fun-filled activity will get your students excited as they practice their academic skills as well as fine motor skills. You can store your cups in a Pringles can and use the three different labels for your cans. Students can follow up this activity by copying their pyramids on to a recording sheet. You can choose to write your words or your own math problems using a sharpie marker on the cups. This can be used for any grade level as your create the skills your student need to master. I've used 3 oz. bath cups which come in four colors in a pack made by Dixie. This way I could have up to four students working on the same skills from each can. The color coding makes it easier for each student to grab a certain color and begin working. Be creative and have fun!

This assessment can be utilized to identify a baseline for individuals around their knowledge of money. This assessment explores an individual’s ability to identify coins and notes, explores value, the ability to count money and budget. This assessment is divided into seven specific areas and each area can be used in isolation to each other, or together to form a comprehensive assessment.

These areas include:

1. Basic Numeracy Skills

2.Written amounts

3.Colour recognition and value

4.Coin and note recognition

5.Budgeting assessment

6.Monetary values

7.Budgeting

It is ideal that all sections are completed to give a general picture of the level of skills the Student currently has. The assessor needs to complete the scores in each section as well as placing a comment next to the score. It is important that the assessor provides a comment so that all relevant material can be extracted, and the most appropriate program be designed for each Student.

SCORING - the assessor is to place a number score into the column next to the question. The scores go from 1 - 3 depending on the skill of the Student.

1. Completed independently - i.e., no assistance at all from the assessor, (no verbal or gestural prompts).

2. Completed with assistance - i.e., assessor may need to verbally prompt or point to correct response.

3. Can not do - even with prompts the Student is unable to complete correct response.

From the baseline a money recognition / budget program can be developed to meet the individual needs of each Student.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED - The assessor will need to have the following equipment available prior to commencing the assessment:

• Money in the form of coins and notes up to the value of $100.00. Should you not have the physical money, this resource includes the options to print a paper copy of the coins/notes which will suffice.

• A printed copy of this assessment and associated worksheets.

NOTE: This assessment is designed for Australian audiences as it uses Australian money.
