This is a movie watch-along activity to go with How to Train Your Dragon. Students will identify the main idea of the movie and also the theme. They will need to provide supporting details for the main idea and the theme. I hope you enjoy it. Please rate and review.

This is an activity to do while your students watch Disney's Inside out. Students will be identifying the main idea and theme, providing 2 supporting details for both of those. Then, once they have finished the movie, they will write a summary of the movie. I hope you enjoy it. Please rate and review.

This is a watch-along activity to go with the movie How to Train Your Dragon. Students will take doodle notes as they watch, analyzing hints that tell them what point of view is the story being told in, and also the Hiccup and Stoick's attitude towards dragons and each other. They will then identify what point of view the story is told in and how they know. Then they will describe Hiccup's attitude towards his dad and how it changes and Stoick's attitude towards dragons and how it changes.

Looking for a simple worksheet for students to complete while watching episode 6 of Our Planet: High Seas?

Our Planet is a British nature documentary series made for Netflix. The series is narrated by David Attenborough and produced by Silverback Films, led by Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey, who also created BBC documentary series Planet Earth, Frozen Planet and The Blue Planet, in collaboration with the conservation charity World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Netflix has the free episodes of their Our Planet series on YouTube. Each episode is between 49 to 51 minutes long. I usually have students vote on which one they want to watch. You do NOT have to watch them in order.

These episodes are great for sub plans and for days where the students just need to chill, such as after field days or any weird schedule days. Make sure to read the questions to the students beforehand so that they know what information they are looking for.
