These clip cards are a great way to test students’ knowledge of recognising fractions decimals and percentages using a physical multiple choice system. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about fractions and their equivalence to decimals and percentages. The idea of this activity is that students clip a clothespin/peg or a paperclip to what they think is the correct answer. This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great exit ticket/plenary to the lesson. These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings. To make them self marking, simply place a dot on the underside of the card pertaining to the correct answer.

-Cut out cards and place them around the room or hallway.

-Give each student a recording sheet and assign them a starting problem.

-Each answer leads to the next card, and students will end up in the same place they started upon completion of the loop.

-An active way to get some extra multiplication practice in!

"The Answers Are..." is a great Non-Curricular Thinking Task your math students can all access, no matter their skill level. Each task card gives a number bank and 5 target answers your students must create. Using each number in the bank only one time each, students work in teams of three to create all 5 expressions by adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. It's more challenging than you might think!

If you are implementing Building Thinking Classrooms this year, "The Answers Are..." is a great thinking task to do with your students at your Vertical Whiteboard stations during the first week of school. Once they solve one of the puzzles, they will keep coming back for more.

The only times included are on the hour (:00), a quarter past (:15), half past (:30), and quarter 'til (:45). You can use these cards for in-class review, a board game, a centers activity, or for the game SCOOT! This includes 2 answer keys, one in numerals and one in the Spanish. Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. Do your students need additional support identifying money, matching dollar amounts to currency and make purchases using the "next dollar up" method? This No Prep Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level.

This is an excellent resource for Middle or High School students with IEP Math or Money Goals, Transition to Work Students, or Elem students learning money skills. It is a great addition to any math/ supported employment program or math center. These activities can also support Transition Plans!

This pack contains a set of 20 questions on the subject of Algebra all with a Christmas theme. Each is differentiated 4 ways, giving a total of 80 cards.

The questions include simple real life situations, nth term questions and sequences, working with simple algebraic equations, and geometry related questions. The cards introduce the idea that algebra has a function in the real world, providing a strong base for the continued learning of Algebra.

Each question is differentiated in 4 ways across 4 cards. The easiest are the Red Questions and then the Yellow. The Green cards offer a little more challenge by asking additional questions, and finally the Challenge cards are designed to push the most able.

As a teacher or tutor, you may want to allow your students to choose which level of the same question they want to try. Or, you may want to dictate which level each student should try. These task cards work great as time fillers at the end of lesson, or as homework. You can also use them in the classic game Scoot, as a student answer sheet is included.
