In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary word for the 17 different winter animal vocabulary flashcards presented. The picture card for each flashcard can be printed out on cardstock, laminated, and cut for students to match, practice and learn the English word for each winter animal vocabulary word presented. Students can play a matching game, guess the name for each winter animal vocabulary word, or draw a picture when presented with each winter animal picture and/or word just to name a few.

A fun drill activity to teach 30 irregular verbs. FUN AND DRILL IN ONE SENTENCE??!! She is crazy, you may think. Well, I kid you not, but kids (and grown-ups) actually really love it. Their joy when they finally work it out is real.

It's LOW PREP and very easy to set up. Simply cut up the puzzle pieces and let your pupils put them back together. The resulting shape is that of a hexagon. Students need to match the infinitive with the correct picture. The picture rhymes with the past simple and past participle form. It can be quite challenging so it's best used as a team activity. You can even turn it into a competition. Just print out a few copies and see which team completes the puzzle first. It's also great as an extra activity for those of your students who always finish first.

I use this puzzle in my EFL classes but I'm sure it would also work great in speech therapy sessions.

PRO TIP: They should start by picking a verb. They look for the rhyme while CHANTING the 3 forms of the verb. They do one verb at a time until they complete the whole puzzle.

Irregular verbs used in this material and their rhymes:
