This engaging and **enjoyable **activity is designed to motivate students to **review the content **before an assessment on Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Through this Ancient Studies game, students will be prepared for the end of the unit. Or, choose to use this as an end-of-unit alternative assessment. Allow students to use their notes, andtextbooks or simply have them answer game questions to see what knowledge they have retained.

Students will be able to identify:

• Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt on a world map.
• Students will be able to identify the geographic locations of the Middle East and North Africa.

• Students will compare and contrast human migration influenced by ancient river valleys.

• Students will put in correct sequential order the mummification process used in Ancient Egypt.
• Students will explore the details surrounding the murder of King Tut.
