Editable Pastel Nameplates | Cursive | Multiplication | Place Value | Nametags
By Kristen Teaches Fourth
Are you in need of cute and functional nameplates/nametags for your students? Look no further! This resource is perfect for you! These nametags measure approximately 4.27 inches high and 10.91 inches width wise (numbers will vary based on how you cut them out). These are a bit bigger so they won't fit in the holders from target but they are easy to laminate. Once you edit - print on your preferred paper (cardstock is my preference - I like Astrobrights), laminate and cut! Easy to cut - just cut across in the middle!
Students will be able to use these right away to help with their multiplication facts, place value and gives them an idea of what the cursive letters look like! There are 3 options! For the primary kiddos - numbers 1 -30 on the top and the primary alphabet on the bottom! I am using them in my fourth grade class and the students are already raving about how helpful they are - no more straining to see the posters!
I attach mine with velcro so that students can easily take them with them if they work in a different area of the room.
You will need a font KA Jackfruit for it to look just like mine. I included the link to purchase the font in the file. Zip files open to an editable powerpoint!
Review are appreciated and helpful for me! Please reach out with any questions or concerns!

What is a Surd? | Skills Poster on surds
By LittleStreams
What is a Surd? This is a surprisingly slippery topic. As a teacher or tutor, we might have an understanding of what one is, but there are a lot of loopholes, traps and exceptions. This poster helps! We have found in our research that explanations of Surds often omit certain pieces of important information in order to generate a simpler understanding, only for the student to be told that there are some exceptions to the rules. This poster therefore aims to set a firm grounding on which to build an understanding of surds without having to navigate through the maze of exceptions and loopholes. If you have any comments or suggestions, and to stay updated please follow us or take a look at our Facebook Page Please click here to visit our website for more information about LittleStreams

Pythagoras & the Pythagorean Theorem
By Bright Classroom Ideas Marketplace
The influence of Pythagoras in mathematics and philosophy remains strong today, as do the mysteries surrounding the great Greek philosopher. Like philosophy and religion, the science of mathematics can change the way we perceive the world and has a massive impact on our lives.
Pythagoras’ philosophy influenced both Plato and Aristotle, and through them his ideas were fundamental in Western philosophy. The Pythagorean school was pivotal in the evolution of human intellect and in raising the level of philosophical thought for 2,500 years.
In his life 2,500 years ago, the Greek philosopher combined philosophy, mathematics, and religion, and his work and ideas are still influential to this day. The Pythagorean theorem remains fundamental in mathematics and is taught in schools across the world.
This practical ebook features an introduction to Pythagoras and an analysis of his theorem for young students. It also includes exercises for practice, and their answers at the end.
