Two examples are provided. One without borrowing and one that shows borrowing when adding money. Reminders are provided for students to include the $ symbol or decimal after they have added the change together. A box is also provided if students want to show their work to help them add.

Insects Bugs and Spiders Labeling Center Activities

Learn to label the parts of an ant, mosquito, butterfly, spider, praying mantis, and more! These no-prep, label the picture printables are great for practicing scissor skills or handwriting in labeling centers, writing centers, to complement science units or for ESL students.
Each insect printable comes in two versions for differentiated learning: one version is a cut and paste, the other is a fill-in-the-blank version with a word bank for more advanced students. Cut and paste versions work well for preschool and kindergartners working on scissor skills, while the word bank version gives older kinders, first and second graders practice at writing and identifying the parts of the life cycles. Printables come in both full color and black and white. Use the black and white version to add a coloring component to the lesson!
