Forms of Energy Adapted Notes and Review
By Sign with me TOD
In this product, different forms of energy are reviewed. Students will learn that energy exists in other forms, what energy is, how you can't always see energy, stored energy vs. energy in motion and examples for students to make connections with each, kinetic energy, examples of kinetic energy for students to make connections with it in real life, students will locate and circle the different kinds of kinetic energy, potential and kinetic energy and how it can go back and forth (picture explanations are also included to provide a visual), different forms of energy - electrical, light, sound, thermal, chemical, and mechanical energy are reviewed - their meanings and examples of each along with pictures so students can make connections with what they are learning in their personal life, what matter is and how it is in chemical energy, and energy transformation picture examples are provided. Students will then be required to write down the different types of energy that change to other kinds of energy when they are provided with picture examples. Students will also be required to draw picture and write down the forms of energy that were used to show energy transformation. At the end of the product, students can complete the review that includes short answer and multiple choice questions.
Throughout the product, students will answer short answer comprehension questions to ensure comprehension after reviewing each page of notes.

Earth Day Animals Affected by Climate Change Articles in Black and White
By Science and STEAM Team
This printer-friendly, black-and-white resource contains five informational reading passages about animals affected by climate change. There is an engaging graphic organizer for students to fill out as they read. There is also a standards and suggestions sheet and a graph showing increasing global temperatures.
The passages were written with middle-schoolers in mind, but the information is very interesting and complex and would be useful for other grades as well.
Animals included:
polar bears
sea turtles
Monarch butterflies
cheetahs
salmon
☀️What others are saying about our top-selling reading passages:
**"**Great way for the kids to independently read and analyze what they learned through the use of the graphic organizer. They individually picked which plant they wanted to read about and then they shared with each other. It was a high-interest activity."
"Great resource! I love setting up the cards in different centers and getting my students moving around the classroom as they read about each one."
