Are you looking for an easy, low-prep way to learn or review the conjugations of -ar verbs in the imperfect tense? This brand-new activity combines reading and coloring to produce a fun way for your students to learn or review the imperfect tense verb endings. This activity is great for last-minute sub plans or days with irregular schedules (like standardized test days, pep rallies, early releases, etc) as well as reviewing or reinforcing verbs in the imperfect tense. This is a free two-page sample of my popular ¡Colorea por Sujeto! activity - there is one coloring page practicing regular -ar verbs in the imperfect plus a colored answer key.

Regular AR Verbs Box Game | Cuadritos

Are you looking for a quick, fun way to get your students practicing the conjugations of regular AR verbs in ANY tense or mood in Spanish? Try out my all-new Cuadritos game for free! This fun, no-prep activity is an engaging way to practice verb conjugations and sentence writing! You can specify the tense and mood, so this could be used at any level! All you need is one copy of the game sheet for each group and recording pages for each student.
This activity can be done in pairs or in small groups and it's a great way to fill a few extra minutes when your lesson ends early or on days with irregular schedules (like standardized test days, pep rallies, early releases, etc). This is also a great learning station activity. My students love playing Cuadritos and beg to play whenever we get the chance!

Flyswatter Game | Basic Spanish Classroom Sayings | Frases de Sobrevivencia

All you need is enough copies of the game board and two different colored writing utensils per pair. You call out terms from the Call List included with the game board and each person scrambles to find and mark it before their partner. At the end of the game, the player with the most terms marked wins! The Call List includes all terms from the game board in the opposite language (if it's in Spanish on the board, then the English term is on the list). There are 2 worksheets included in this set. The first worksheet includes descriptions of 12 outfits for students to illustrate and give their opinion about in writing. The second worksheet includes 10 situations (such as "en una fiesta") for students to describe an appropriate outfit and illustrate. This is one of the most popular activities I do in my classroom, and it really allows the artistic and creative students to show their understanding of the vocabulary in a fun way.
