Buy 2 and get one free with this unique PASSÉ COMPOSÉ and IMPARFAIT task cards bundle. Each set includes 30 task cards that you can use in a number of ways with your students. Practice the passé composé all by itself, then the imparfait all by itself before ultimately combining the two with these 3 sets of task cards.

These cards offer an excellent opportunity to see the many ways in which we can use the passé composé as opposed to the imparfait. There's a nice mixture of common regular and irregular verbs to work with. For the passé composé there are verbs using both avoir and être as helping verb. An answer key is provided.

Students can work with a partner as a cooperative activity and to practice speaking or they can work individually to practice writing. Task cards are a nice alternative to worksheets which can sometimes seem tedious or boring.

Just print, cut out and laminate these cards and you're ready to go, no prep for years to come! If you look in the upper left corner you'll see a space where you can neatly punch a hole in each card and then connect them with a keyring. This really makes using these task cards easy enough to decide on using at the drop of a hat, and they make for fantastic review.

If you're struggling to find an original and engaging activity for your beginner French students to practice and review regular ER, IR, and RE verbs, you are going to love these 3 listening comprehension and writing activities in the present tense. • Draw what you hear on the student response sheet provided
• Write the infinitive form of the verb being used in the sentence

These activities can be used for listening comprehension and written production at the same time, instructions included.

If your students have access to colored pencils you may choose to use the recordings that indicate which color they should use to draw and write. The color they should use is clearly indicated in French at the beginning or appropriate time in the reading of the sentence.

A recording without the use of colors is also included.

Some students will say they can’t draw, but stick figures should be encouraged! None of the sentences represent a real drawing challenge.

Advanced French Translation Challenge #2 - Video + PowerPoint

My series of Advanced French Translation Challenges is for intermediate through advanced level learners. Practically every grammar topic in my complete series which is available as a bundle. Note that I made these videos for my students, so I may make references to lessons that your students may not have learned.

The video is 8 minutes long, giving time for you or students to put the video on pause and to work on translations before going over them. The video includes two substantial translations, English to French. You may choose to work on only one per session.
