The Door of No Return Study Guide

This resource is designed to accompany Kwame Alexander's novel The Door of No Return. This resource covers all 7 chapters of the text. Students will answer comprehension questions about the text, along with questions about figurative language and text design. There are also questions that push students to analyze the text and the choices the author made.
Some of the terms used in this study guide include:

- alliteration
- personification

- textual evidence

- context clues
- summarize
Included in this resource are 132 questions about this text. Each chapter study guide has a color and a black/white version of the worksheets. There is a color and a black/white cover. If you would like to print them all at once, you can put the cover page on top. There is a Google Doc with answers to all of the questions.
