Fine Motor PREWRITING MY 2D SHAPES BOOK Activities Trace Cut and Paste Kinder

Students will be engaged in making, “My 2D Shapes Book”. Students color, trace, and cut & paste creating a keepsake while learning 2D shapes. One set of shapes is cut within a line of circles and the other is cut into thin lines. Color and black & white.

Gingerbread Man Lapbook Storyboard | Graphic Organizer

My students LOVE storyboards! They are a great resource for introducing basic story elements and summarizing, I use colorful file folders or large manila/construction paper. There are illustrations to color which are surrounded by dotted lines to make cutting easier. There are also interactive flaps for writing the beginning, middle and ending as well as places to write about the characters, setting and summary. This storyboard can be used as a companion activity for The Gingerbread Man.

My students LOVE creating storyboards and they are a wonderful introduction to basic story elements and summarizing. I use colorful file folders or large manila/construction paper. There are illustrations to color and places to list the characters, setting and summary. There are also interactive flaps for writing the beginning, middle and ending. This project is about the birth of Baby Jesus and includes Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, the Wise Men, a shepherd and a sheep.
