With this interactive scavenger hunt students will learn fun and interesting Hanukkah related facts like: Did you know Hanukkah is also known as the festival of lights? Or Did you know there is 16 different ways to spell Hanukkah? The scavenger hunt includes 18 fact cards and asks students to read the cards closely for information to fill in the answer sheets. Fact cards are numbered and provide all the information needed for students.
This scavenger hunt will still work broken into shorter segments for multiple lessons or a shorter activity.
This scavenger hunt also works well as a scoot game!

Like many of you, the country of Ukraine and its people have been on my mind and heart daily. Saddened by what is taking place and feeling helpless I wished there was more I could do to help. Undoubtedly, you are also thinking about your students during time and looking for ways to address this current event with them in an age appropriate way.
This scavenger hunt is a fun way for students to learn fun and interesting facts about Ukraine while bringing attention to the country & culture. Students can work together to complete the scavenger hunt bringing unity to the classroom. Activity pages at the end give students the opportunity to reflect and even express their emotions.
This resource does not directly address the current climate or war in Ukraine. This resource was designed to teach about the beauty of Ukraine and its rich culture. I have found many students have been flooded with information and images of the war from different media source. This gives students insight to what Ukraine was like before the war.

I have priced this resource at $5.00 and will donate 100% of the proceeds to UNICEF Ukraine. UNICEF is working in Ukraine to provide necessary resources, support and assistance to children and their families.

Halloween Letter Search is a delightful activity designed to celebrate the spooky season and help preschoolers and kindergarteners learn to identify and match uppercase and lowercase letters.
This resource includes two colorful mats, one for uppercase letters and one for lowercase letters. Each mat features adorable Halloween-themed illustrations to make learning fun and engaging.
How to Use:
- Print: Choose the desired version (color or black and white) and print the mats.
- Cut: Cut out the cards from the provided sheet.
- Match: Have little learners match the letter cards to the corresponding letter on the mat.
- Color: Encourage children to color the letters as they match them.
Laminate both the color mat and the cards for enhanced durability and longevity.

Functional Literacy Sight Word Writing & coloring for Special Education & K - 2

This Match-Select-Name writing unit contains fluency support activities directly linked to the Match-Select-Name basketball reading unit. The Match-Select-Name method was presented by L. Oelwein. There has been a significant amount of research done on the efficacy of this method. It is shown to be beneficial for students with exceptionalities including Down’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder who are struggling to learn to read using phonics.
There are four stages in the method:
1 - Acquisition (Matching, Selecting, Naming)
2 - Fluency (Practice and Review)
3 - Transfer (Use of new fonts and coloured paper)
4 - Generalization (Ability to read the words in any context/format)

The resources included in this unit support the fluency stage for the 24 words in the set. The sight words in this set are from the Pre-primer and Primer Dolch word lists. You will find a writing sheet for each word, a colouring sheet for each word, and a board game using all 24 words.
