What is Included:

• Transportation Posters - There are 3 posters included in this set. One for each land, sea, and air vehicles.
• Transportation Vocabulary Rings - These cards can be placed on a ring and added to a writing center for students to flip through to find the right word for their story.
• Small Transporation Charts - These include all the images from the posters plus a few more to create small charts that can be placed on a wall in a writing center or placed in students' writing journals.

How to Use:

These posters and cards can be used to create a fun transportation theme writing center for your classroom. The posters can be hung on the wall of the writing center or be laminated and place on the center table. The pocket chart cards, small charts, and vocabulary ring provide additional ways into include the transportation vocabulary in your writing center. You can use all of the reference materials or just the ones that best suit your needs. The writing prompts are designed for students who need a little inspiration in knowing what to write about. The writing paper is a great addition to the center to include a fun activity for students to write their own ideas.

Easy to Prep!

This easy to prep writing center will save you a lot of time when planning and preparing your writing center for your transportation theme.

This special person writing activity and craft allows students to create a meaningful gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day or Grandparent's Day. This simple craft and writing project is sure to delight the special person in the child's life.

How to Make:

To create the writing aspect of this activity, students will use the brainstorming ideas page to write down reasons they love their special person or when they do something the child loves. The student then gets to choose some of their best ideas to write on their heart craft. After writing their sentences, students can decorate their parent gift any way they choose. Students may choose to cut out their craft and glue it to some colored construction paper or card stock.

This packet includes several variations for different things a child may call their special person. There is also a blank craft for the student to write their special name.

This craft and writing activity are very easy to set up.
