Kindergarten HMH High-frequency Words Worksheets INTO READING Module 4

Practice the Kinder INTO READING program Sight Words of HMH easily and with no prep.

Worksheets, ready to be used, for the frequently used words of the week from HMH's Kindergarten Into Reading program. They can be used as homework or even as a center.

Upon acquiring this resource, you will receive 1 PDF file of 26 pages to work on the 16 words of Module 4. Each word has its front page, and there are two different options for the back of the page. One option is to practice writing the week's words by tracing and copying the word (pages 23 to 26), while the second option is to try to formulate sentences and be creative with the word of the day, as half of the sheet is left blank to let the student creatively draw the word or illustrate the sentences they wrote above (pages 19 to 22).

This activity works with the 16 frequently used words from module 4 of the HMH Kindergarten program.

  • Module 1 has only 4 words.
  • Modules 2 through 3 consist of 12 words each
  • Modules 4 to 9 consist of 16 words each.

Every module is 4 weeks long and the program consists of 9 modules (36 weeks).

Each word will be worked on in 9 different ways:

  • Reading the word, its sounds, and syllables.
  • Tracing the letters that make up the word.
  • Searching for the word among other frequently used words.
  • Fill in the blocks with each of the letters of the word.
  • Sort the letter cards to form the word.
  • Count the number of syllables in the word.
  • Make the word of the day unique using colored pencils.
  • Write sentences with the word or words you are working on.
  • Calligraphy

There's also space provided for creative expression with colored pencils.

If the option of creating sentences on the back, pages 23 to 26, is chosen, it would be advisable not to cut out the letters from the front until these sentences are completed so that they continue to have the help shown at the bottom of the page on how to write each word.

Existen dos recursos diferentes:

1. Busca y escribe las palabras de la semana

En este recurso, los estudiantes tendrán que rellenar los cuadros de texto del margen derecho con las palabras de uso frecuente de esa semana vayan encontrando en la sopa de letras. En este otro recurso, los mismos cuadros de texto ya vienen rellenos con las palabras de la semana pero escritas con línea de puntos. El objeto es escribir sobre ellas según se vayan encontrando en la sopa de letras. Pídales que hagan un círculo alrededor de la palabra encontrada en la sopa de letras para dejar constancia de que sí fue encontrada.

Escribe además una frase utilizando una o más de las palabras encontradas.

Fantastic daily math worksheets to work on the number of the day, from number 121 to 160, and up to 19 more activities spread over three different models. Model A, which is designed to be used at any time of the year, and models B, and B+, which is more suitable for the second half and introduce new concepts learned during the course.

There are a total of 40 worksheets on model B+, one per number, but they are not assigned to any particular date of the school calendar, so they can be used indistinctly according to the teacher's objectives at any given time.
